SCHOLARSHIPS
The Menard ISD graduating seniors are very fortunate to have so many local
scholarships. The investments made by local organizations, businesses, and
individuals prove the support and value from the community in the interest
of education and higher education.
Finding scholarship money is time consuming and very hard work. However,
as proven by the preceding classes, the time and energy spent is well worth
the benefits reaped.
Listed are scholarships that usually come to my office.
Applications will be available in Senior English classes as they become available. It is the responsibility of the student to meet deadlines!
For all federal and state grant, scholarship, or loan programs, there is one
application form. The earliest students may apply is January 1 of their
senior year. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms will
arrive late November. Students can get the FAFSA paper forms from the
counselor's office. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA online for
more prompt results.
